The Cultural Council will hold its next meeting on May 14 2013, at 6:30 pm. Our meeting will take place in the seminar room at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts (CCA). The Chelmsford Cultural Council, a town board and agency of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, supports a variety of art programs, works of local artists, musicians, historians, and collaborative proposals that bring together artists, organizations, and local cultural groups for projects that serve the Chelmsford community. Last year, the cultural council funded more than $7,000 in grant projects; funding programs that support our local schools, community centers, knowledge of history, and the fine arts. Each year the Massachusetts Cultural Council allots funds to local Cultural Councils for the Local Cultural Council (LCC) grant program to provide arts offerings to residents of all ages – like visual arts workshops, musical programs, storytelling and arts and crafts.Scan this QR Code with your mobile device to access our web app.  The Chelmsford Cultural Council is looking for new members. It is a legal document and required by the MCC in order for you to receive your reimbursement. LCC grant applications are generally due by October 15; the application is available on the Council’s website. - The Grant Reimbursement request form has been revised. For the current form, please click here: Things to remember - Are you getting started on your grant application(s) for FY 2014? - Grant applications are due a few days before our October meeting. - Grant Voting meetings are normally held towards the beginning/middle of November. - Don't forget to submit the photocontest application? Check the application for deadlines. - Are you ready for the volunteer fair? We'll be there. Dates will be posted in the near future. - Have you submitted an invoice? - You are welcomed to submit a reimbursement request form once you have received notification by the council, that you have been awarded a grant. Award letters will begin to be e-mailed/mailed no later than January 17th, per the guidelines set forth by the MCC. - When you submit a reimbursement request, please include supporting documents ( Invoice, Brochures ) . Grant Recipients - Useful LinksThe Chelmsford Cultural Council has a web based application available. The web based app will install an icon on your mobile device's home screen, enabling you to access the web app. For now, it only has Facebook and Mass Cultural Council news feeds. We are in the process of publishing this free app ( no ads ) to app stores like apple, android, nokia, and other mobile providers as time moves on.
